Practically no pharmaceutical formulation has yet been proved for
not causing some or the other types of mild, moderate to sever side
effects. Every medication has certain side effects but it is not
necessary that each of the medicine may affect all the patients in
equal manner as it entirely varies from patient to patient based on
his individual medical condition. Besylate - Atracurium Besylate –
Tracrium is no special anyway. It too may cause some side effects.
Side effects due to the histamine deliverance are rash, spontaneous
raise in the heart rate, low blood pressure and bronchospasm.
Most commonly noticed and reported side effects by Besylate -
Atracurium Besylate–Tracrium however are said to include skin flush,
erythema, itching wheezing i.e. bronchial secretions and hives in
general cases. However, the remarkable adverse reactions have
negligible medical importance if they are not accompanied by
remarkable homodynamic variations. Anyway, clinical trials on this
medication have reported instances of considerable alterations in
vital sign with nearly 530 patients having no cardiovascular
ailments and in whom such parameters were evaluated.
The adverse reactions were however most frequently noticed but there
are no sufficient data available for supporting its estimate anyway:
The most common amongst them were allergic reactions like
anaphylactic or anaphylactoid responses and of course in rare cases
they were severe like cardiac arrest. The next in the row is
musculoskeletal showing insufficient block and prolonged blockade.
Whereas, the cardiovascular segments the cases were noticed with
hypotension, vasodilatation or flushing, tachycardia and bradycardia.
So far respiratory system is concerned dyspnea; bronchospasm and
laryngospasm have been reported. The rash, urticaria as well as the
reactions at the injection sites were found in the integument
category.
